Paterson After-School Program - Apr-June, 4p-6p
We need volunteers preferably one day each week for 2 hours after school to help kids with their homework, specifically with reading. Our church is partnering with an established Christian after school program which serves 60-90 elementary kids each day. “Discovering the North Jersey Vineyard Church,” is the first in a series of four Kingdom Life Classes that is offered at the church throughout the year. This class will discuss salvation, our stories, purpose, vision, faith statement, values, structure, strategies, and membership covenant. Help! Sound Technician Wanted
The church is looking for new volunteers to help run the sound system during worship services and you might be able to help! If you’re interested, you can sign up on the Connection Card and someone will call you. Contact Jared Lee of Bryan Respass for more information. Full training will be provided.
Bolivia Mission Trip (July 22-31)
We will be heading down to Bolivia at the end of July. The trip will cost about $1500 per person including airfare, room & board, and other fees. Does not include between $200 - $500 of required or recommended shots. Contact Jon White or call the Church: 201.288.0010.
Wanted: Airline Miles
Our church is sending a team to Bolivia in July on a short-term mission trip. For every ticket paid for by donated frequent flyer miles will cut the cost of the trip by about $100 per person. Team mebers are already giving their vacation time and money to go. Please consider supporting them by donating some airline miles (American Airlines would be best). Please contact Jon White if you are interested.

Vineyard Leadership Institute (VLI) has been designed to integrate training in Bible, theology, ministry, leadership and spiritual formation with a standard of excellence. Justice Journal
Our new monthly newsletter, the Justice Journal, is available in hard copy at the resource desk. This newsletter will highlight one issue of injustice per month with action steps and additional reading references. This month's issue is about world hunger in conjuction with the 30 hour famine the youth are participating in. It also has a book review for a Social Justice related book.

We are forming a team of people who are interested in using the talents God has given them to help others. Weneed both skilled and unskilled help. Examples of projects could berepair of plumbing, masonry, electrical, carpentry or roofs. Thosewilling to help should sign up by emailing Jon White. As needs arise, we will contact you to see if you can help. Please alsocontact Jon if you (or your friends) have projects where you need ahelping hand.
