Love146 Task Force
Love146 is a public charity dedicated to being instrumental in addressing modern-day slavery. It is committed to establishing “safe homes”, where young victims who have been rescued from sexual enslavement can receive aftercare and heal. The North Jersey Vineyard Love146 Task Force is part of the greater Love146 organization. We partner with them in hopes of stirring up awareness of the crisis of the enslavement of children through trafficking, sponsoring events in raising funds for the organization and encouraging abolition. Each month we are planning activities that will connect the Vineyard with this noble cause for social justice. Upcoming events include a car wash and a walk-a-thon.
The task force’s current events and efforts can be found online at the following blog. Also you will find the latest trafficking news, fundraisers and events in other towns as well as resources such as articles and books, which give a greater depth of understanding. If you would like to email a message, write us at njlove146taskforce@gmail.com. For information on national events and global news, such as the completion of the first “safe home” in the Philippines, please go to www.love146.org.
Vineyard Leadership Institute (VLI)
Is God calling you to serve him as a leader in his church? Are people looking to you for answers from the Bible, or for wise counsel, or to explain the Gospel to them? Then you need to be trained to act like a leader, think like a scholar and love like the Lord. Vineyard Leadership Institute (VLI) has been designed to integrate training in Bible, theology, ministry, leadership and spiritual formation with a standard of excellence. If any of this interests you, please email Jared Lee or call 201.288.0010.
Volunteers Needed
Do you feel called to serve at the church? If so, we have openings for volunteers at all of our services. If you're interested in serving in our Kids' Church or being on one of our Welcome Teams, please email Evan Harder.
