love146 task force
Love146 is a public charity dedicated to being instrumental in addressing modern-day slavery. It is committed to establishing “safe homes”, where young victims who have been rescued from sexual enslavement can receive aftercare and heal. The North Jersey Vineyard Love146 Task Force is part of the greater Love146 organization. We partner with them in hopes of stirring up awareness of the crisis of the enslavement of children through trafficking, sponsoring events in raising funds for the organization and encouraging abolition. Each month we are planning activities that will connect the Vineyard with this noble cause for social justice. Upcoming events include a craft sale which will be held in the church lobby on Sundays 11/29-12/20. We are also planning a benefit concert in February.
The task force’s current events and efforts can be found online at the following blog. Also you will find the latest trafficking news, fundraisers and events in other towns as well as resources such as articles and books, which give a greater depth of understanding. If you would like to email a message, write us at love146taskforce@northjerseyvineyard.org.
