My husband and I had only been going to this church for a few weeks. Before worship began, the prayer team said they thought that someone needed healing for their "right ovary." I was having open surgery on my ovaries to remove large cysts the following Tuesday and the right ovary was most problematic. Even before the prayer team leader read out the word for "right ovary," both my husband and I had a strong feeling that they would call out those words. When they did, we were amazed, not because it was such a "coincidence," but because we felt that God had confirmed what each of us were already feeling in our hearts.
That Sunday both my husband and I felt very blessed to have received such a specific word for prayer from a church community where we were newcomers. On the day of the surgery I felt very well rested and peaceful, knowing that I had so much prayer from family, friends and the church. The surgery and recovery has been completely successful and both ovaries were saved. Responding to this prayer ministry word was truly an awesome experience and we loved being able to tell all our friends and family about how God had spoken so clearly in our lives when we needed to hear Him.
