Ellen:

My testimony about my ankle is: At the worship & healing service last Friday, you made a light joke about having a word of knowledge in a previous meeting that someone's right ankle was hurting them, but no one was claiming the healing. Your Mom later came to you and admitted it was hers, but she hadn't said anything in the meeting. I laughed but then remembered that my ankle had been bothering me, and so I said "I have a painful right ankle, could you pray for me?" It sounds stupid in retrospect, but I hadn't come to the meeting to get the ankle prayed for, I'd come solely for the worship aspect. We'd been camping in Vermont the previous three days, and while wading in the rock-bottomed river, my right ankle got strained -- not twisted, not sprained, just strained. But by the time we got home Thursday night, it was swollen and throbbing, and I knew I couldn't do my exercises or hour-long walk on Friday. (a sacrifice for me, so you know it wasn't doing well!) Randy prayed for my ankle, and although I can't say I felt anything huge just then, it seemed as soon as I walked away, the ankle was normal again.  Sure enough, throughout that evening and into Saturday, my ankle felt and looked perfectly fine, and I haven't had one drop of pain since the prayer. Praise the Lord!!
