Phil Chorlian is the Senior Pastor of the North Jersey Vineyard, which he planted (started) in 1997. Phil's primary responsibilities are teaching on Sundays, overseeing leaders, and steering the overall vision of the church. Phil also serves the national Vineyard movement as the Regional Church Planting Coordinator for the Northeast. In this role he helps new churches get started and provides care and training for them during the process of becoming established churches.
Phil grew up in Dumont. Prior to planting the North Jersey Vineyard, he served as a missionary with Youth With a Mission, graduated from Nyack College, and was an assistant pastor at a local denominational church. He's been in pastoral ministry since 1993.
Phil and his wife Norma have been married since 1991. They have 4 great kids and two big, lovable labs.
Phil enjoys hanging out with his family, is somewhat of a movie buff, loves to read, is an avid runner and a hack golfer. His greatest passion is seeing the Kingdom of God show up and change people’s lives.
